Experience the Thrill of Double-Handed Sailing
The RS Feva is the world’s leading double-handed dinghy for young sailors. Modern, agile, and equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker, it delivers instant speed while remaining remarkably stable. For our budding sailors in the Terre-Sainte area, it is the perfect “next step” after the Optimist or RS Tera, focusing on the essential skills of communication, teamwork, and crew coordination.
Why Choose the Fall Training in Crans?
Autumn on the Petit-Lac often brings the most consistent wind conditions of the year—perfect for mastering hiking techniques and spinnaker handling.
While larger centers in nearby Nyon or Founex can feel impersonal, the Club Nautique de Crans prides itself on a warm, community-driven “club” atmosphere. We offer professional coaching with a boutique feel, ensuring that every duo receives personalized attention to accelerate their progress on the water. It’s the ideal local hub for the Terre-Sainte international community to connect and sharpen their sailing edge before the winter break.
The RS Feva: The star of double-handed dinghies.
Modern, fun, and sturdy, the RS Feva is the ideal boat for learning to sail in pairs. Unlike the Optimist, where you sail alone, here everything depends on communication!
-
Assigned roles: We learn to alternate between the positions of Helmsman (the person who steers) and Crew (the person who manages the headsail and balance).
-
Sailing sensations: Equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker (balloon mainsail), the Feva offers exhilarating acceleration downwind.
-
Safety: This is a stable boat that allows you to learn without fear, while still offering excellent performance.

Crew: 2 people (helmsman and crew member)
Length: 3.64 m
Rigging: Mainsail, jib, and asymmetrical spinnaker (7m²)
