RS Feva Spring Sessions – Kickstart the Season on the Lake!
Master the Art of Double-Handed Sailing
The RS Feva is the world-renowned benchmark for youth double-handed dinghies. Modern, fast, and equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker, it offers an exhilarating yet secure introduction to performance sailing. For young sailors across Terre-Sainte, it represents the natural progression after the Optimist or RS Tera—moving from solo sailing to the dynamic world of crew communication and tactical teamwork.
Why Choose the Spring Training in Crans?
As the waters of the Petit-Lac wake up, our Spring sessions provide the perfect momentum to sharpen skills for the upcoming season. While larger facilities in Nyon or Founex may offer high-volume courses, the Club Nautique de Crans focuses on a high-quality, “boutique” club experience.
We provide professional coaching within a friendly, community-oriented environment where every sailor is known by name. It is the preferred choice for the Terre-Sainte international community looking for expert instruction without the impersonal feel of larger commercial centers.
The RS Feva: The star of double-handed dinghies.
Modern, fun, and sturdy, the RS Feva is the ideal boat for learning to sail in pairs. Unlike the Optimist, where you sail alone, here everything depends on communication!
-
Assigned roles: We learn to alternate between the positions of Helmsman (the person who steers) and Crew (the person who manages the headsail and balance).
-
Sailing sensations: Equipped with an asymmetric spinnaker (balloon mainsail), the Feva offers exhilarating acceleration downwind.
-
Safety: This is a stable boat that allows you to learn without fear, while still offering excellent performance.
Crew: 2 people (helmsman and crew member)
Length: 3.64 m
Rigging: Mainsail, jib, and asymmetrical spinnaker (7m²)
