Why sail in the fall?

Autumn on Lake Geneva often offers exceptional conditions for catamaran sailing.

• More wind: October breezes are perfect for speeding up multihulls.

• Unique setting: Sail on a less crowded lake, with the magnificent colors of the Vaud coastline as a backdrop.

• Rapid progress: In small groups, instructors provide personalized advice to help you take your technique to the next level.

Internship program

Whether you are a beginner or have already sailed in the summer, the program can be adapted to suit you:

• Beginners: Understanding the wind, steering the catamaran, tacking without stopping (“tack without a turn”), managing balance.

• Improvement: Speed optimization, trapeze management, sailing under asymmetrical spinnaker, controlled capsizing (and righting!).

Practical Information – Fall Session

• Audience: Teenagers aged 12 to 17.

• Period: Fall school break (October) or Wednesdays/Saturdays in September-October (depending on your exact schedule).

• Location: Crans Nautical Club (Port of Crans-près-Céligny).

• Prerequisites: Be able to swim 25 meters and be comfortable in the water (capsizing test possible).
