LICENSE THEORY.

Before taking the Motorboat License or Sailing License exam, you must pass the Theory Exam.

Recommended age: 14 to 77

1. Prepare yourself

The first step to passing your theory test is to prepare properly. It is important to obtain the necessary course materials. Take advantage of the offer from our partner BoatDriver to train effectively.

2. Make an Appointment

Registering for the theory test allows you to set yourself a goal and get started on revising for the Theory Test in an effective way.

3. Practice

It is important to practice regularly to feel comfortable with the questions asked on the exam. Take practice tests online with our partner BoatDriver to train yourself to answer questions quickly and effectively.

4. Take the exam

During the exam, it is important to remain calm and take your time answering the questions. It is also important to read the questions and suggested answers carefully. You can go back and revise your answers. Don’t get stuck on one question

5. Retrieve the results

The results of the Theory Test are available immediately. To pass your Theory Test, you must make a maximum of 15 mistakes out of 60 questions. We can now schedule an appointment for your Motorboat License and/or Sailing License exam.

N.B.

It can sometimes be difficult to quickly book a date for the practical exam if you have not passed your theory exam. Don’t wait until the last minute to take your theory exam!
