A team of enthusiasts
The Club Nautique de Crans Committee.
The Crans Nautical Club (CNC) committee works on a voluntary basis to promote sailing on Lake Geneva and ensure the dynamic management of our nautical base in Crans-près-Céligny.
Governance
Articles of association.
The Crans Nautical Club, founded as a non-profit association (in accordance with Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code), relies on a transparent and democratic structure to carry out its mission on Lake Geneva. Our governance ensures the successful development of nautical activities, from youth training to high-level competition.
The association’s bodies
The CNC’s operations are based on three main pillars defined by our statutes:
- The General Assembly: The club’s highest authority, it brings together active and honorary members. It defines strategic directions, votes on the budget, sets membership fees, and elects committee members.
- The Committee: Composed of at least 5 volunteer members, the committee is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the club. It ensures that the statutes are applied and represents the association in dealings with authorities and partners.
- The Supervisory Body: Two auditors verify the rigor and transparency of the CNC’s financial management each year.
To support its activities, the committee can also draw on thematic commissions dedicated to specific projects (events, sailing school, juniors).
Members and membership
The Crans Nautical Club is an open and dynamic community with several categories of members:
- Active Members: Regularly participate in activities and have voting rights.
- Junior Members: The club’s next generation (up to age 18).
- Supporting Members: Supporting the club through their membership fees.
- Honorary Members: Recognized for their exceptional commitment to the club
